1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the GorGorr application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
GorGorr provides a technology platform that connects passengers seeking transportation with independent drivers. We are not a transportation provider — drivers are independent contractors.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
4. Passenger Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
- Be ready at the pickup location when the driver arrives
- Treat drivers with respect
- Pay the displayed fare — via mobile money or cash
- Do not carry illegal items or substances
- Wear seatbelts where available
5. Driver Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle registration
- Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Treat passengers with respect and professionalism
- Complete accepted rides unless there is a valid safety reason to cancel
- Maintain accurate availability status in the App
6. Fares and Payments
- Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle type, and demand
- Estimated fares are shown before booking — actual fare may vary
- Payment methods: EVC Plus, Zaad, Sahal, Premier Wallet, or Cash
- Drivers receive their earnings minus the platform commission
- Commission rates are set by GorGorr and may be updated
7. Cancellations
- Passengers may cancel a ride before the driver arrives
- Frequent cancellations may result in account restrictions
- Drivers may cancel for valid reasons (safety, no-show)
8. Safety
- Both passengers and drivers can use the SOS emergency button
- Ride tracking is available for all trips
- Report any safety concerns through the App immediately
- We cooperate with law enforcement when required
9. Ratings and Reviews
After each trip, passengers and drivers can rate each other (1-5 stars). Low ratings may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent deactivation.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
GorGorr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, including fraud, harassment, dangerous behavior, or repeated low ratings.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention after deletion.
12. Limitation of Liability
GorGorr acts as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for the actions of drivers or passengers, traffic incidents, delays, or loss of personal items during rides. Use the service at your own risk.
13. Modifications
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Somalia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Mogadishu, Somalia.
